Finished 54 of a 2462 player tournament!
Folks, the Companion works! I battled the field last night to a Top 5% finish in a 2462 person Texas Holdem tournament. Ask yourself, are you finishing this high in your Holdem events? I wasn't... now I will not play without my Companion! Cya folks!

tournaments 1/7 thru the 9th
Played 5 tournaments: Finished 1st, 8th/9, 4th/9, 1st! Folks, these are REAL accounts of my current tournament play. I'm not padding these results one way or another. Note the 8th and 4th place finishes this past weekend. They both are NOT in the money. I won't win every tournament but with the Companion, I figure I can win or place in the money most of the time. That's a winning percentages I can live with.

Last 5 tournaments: 1st, 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 1st! I truly feel I can play myself into the money almost every game. In fact, that's been my recent strategy. I figure if I place in the money at the WSOP, I can at minium double my money. However, it'll be all about the Final table finish come June for me. Keep checking back folks... the Companion package is cheap...start winning today with it.

1st place again! Wow, another win! This is getting addictive. Not to drag this recount out... I used the Slow Play Companion to jocky myself in 3 place most of the tournament. I picked my spots well and when I had it, I applied the pressure and won some decent hands. We (the final 3) played for 30 minutes... going back and forth. Finally it was me and the chip leader. Blinds @ $2000/1000... I bluffed some blinds and ended up winning with 2 pair. Check back... I will be playing all week.

1st place again! 2005 is turning out to be an excellent year. Let's summarize this tournament like this... UP, DOWN, UP... then WAY UP. The final hand was classic Trap. Were going back and forth... I pull AA and Call his $800 Pre-Flop bet. Flop is nothing, he Bets $800, I Call. The Turn is no good, I Raise to $1,600, he Calls. The River is no help and he goes All In. I end up with the Nut winner AAA88. He says in the chat window.. "well played"... I reply, like a fox.

2nd place finish. Nice tournament tonight. Went heads up with a guy that earlier in the match tried talking smack about every ones play (how he had to remind himself that he was playing with lesser Hold'em players) I took most of his chips on a nicely timed 88 All In to his AA. I pulled the 8 on the flop and listened to him cry about how he'd rather be outplayed then out drawn. YAWN! I ended up with the chip lead with 3 guys left. I ended up meeting Mr. Pro heads up and played to a tie most of the way. The Final hand had me with 3 of kind... he got lucky with a flush on the River. Mr. Pro turned into Mr RIVER STAR... ha ha... with the Companion... he wouldn't need to be a River Star anymore.

Happy New Year! The First tournament of 2005 produced another WIN for Team Companion. With little effort (seemed everyone was in a daze or I'm playing the Best poker of my life) I won 3 straight hands slowing to Big $1,000 pots. I checked a Nut Straight and got the pot another $600. By the end, I had 10 times the chips (10,000 v 1,000) and it wasn't long before an All In with a pair of 33 took it. Listen folks, if you haven't tried the Companion and your NOT winning tournaments like you think you should... get the Companion package and make 2005 your year to making money on the poker table! Cheers!

Tournament on 12/23/2004

Greetings, It Works! I'm stressing over a $5.00 single-table tournament. Criminy, it's a lattee & I'm stressing. 2nd tournament I've been in (finished 5th of 10 yesterday). Anyway, I actually came in 1st. $1500 starts, down to $525 & come back to win with it all!  *Now* I see what you're saying about no-limit tournaments. They are fun. I would recommend the Texas Holdem Calculator and Companion to anyone!

Editors note: this was his 2nd texas holdem NL tournament ever and he finished IN THE MONEY!

1st Place last night! Powered up BIG TIME. 2nd hand, pulled the nut straight and checked it all the way to the River. My opponent then raised $500, I re-raise $1,200... with nothing on the board that would scare me... he Re-Re-raises me ALL IN. I win the pot and take the chip lead... very nice action the rest of the way, taking pot after pot with Re-raises of triple the Blinds. In the end, with over $8k in chips... it was only a matter of time before I took home the victory. Highlight of the night, outside of the nut straight had to be me losing a hand to a 4 of a kind... I had pocket Q's with a Q on the board (3 Q's) Oh well, he got me there, I got him later with 2 pair. Rather lose the battle, but win the war.

Didn't finish in the money... but I wasn't into last night. Deep into the night, I decided to play a $15 holdem tournament. After 6 hands of "monitoring" the action, I pull a nice AJ and got an opponent to raise me after the FLOP pulled A 3 J for me. We go All In and I'm feeling pretty good. 4 hands later I get 55 dealt and the FLOP produces k 9 5, I check to my opponent, they raise, we go All In and I'm the Chip leader. 2 hands later, I pull TT on the deal, I SHOULD HAVE raised everyone out of the hand, but instead double the raise... an opponent called and pulled a pair of Q's on the FLOP. We go All In (sleep was pressing me) and I go out fast. Maybe next time... but it shows that I can manufacture chips when I need them.

Finished 2nd, which wasn't too bad considering I was short stack with 5 players left. A very timely AK suited and a Pre Flop ALL IN by my opponent put me at  the top of the chip stack. Nothing like ALL IN AK vs QT and the FLOP produces K 7 2 I end up getting an A on the River to seal the deal. Again, the Slow Play Companion helped me survive deep in the competition and never dipped under $1k in chips.

Another Top 3 finish for Team Companion!
Using the Slow Play Companion in conjunction with our Texas Holdem Companion, I weaved my way through the field to finish an amazing 2nd place. Amazing it was... I only played 1 of the first 20 hands (won it) but hung around enough that when the cards started dropping, using the Companion I made  the right calls and took the chip lead with 4 players left. A 2nd place finish (in the money) was nothing short of amazing.

more to come as we play towards our appearance at the 2005 WSOP held in Las Vegas!

Thanks for visiting!
